How to use the Waratah and Acacia Cantilever Umbrellas

Boxed Materials:

  • Metal cross base 
  • Metal cross base 
  • 360 degree Swivel System x1 
  • Lower pole x1 
  • Screw, washer x8 
  • Plastic cone x1 
  • Umbrella frame & canopy x1 
  • Crank x1 
  • Screw with plastic cap x1 
  • Allen key x1 
  • Stay pole 
  • Umbrella cover 

Instructions:

  1. Place the upper cross leg over the lower cross leg  to form an ‘X’
  2. Using screws fix the 360 degree swivel system onto the metal cross base. Then fix the lower pole to the 360 degree swivel system.
  3. Place the plastic cone over the lower pole and position over 360 degree swivel system.
  4. Place the umbrella frame and canopy onto the lower pole. Secure with plastic cap.
  5. Using the easy glide handle, push the handle in an upwards direction towards the top of the umbrella pole until it locks into the lowest position.
  6. Open the umbrella by inserting and rotating the crank.
  7. Adjust the angle of the umbrella by sliding the easy glide handle up or down the pole and locking into the desired positon.
  8. The umbrella can be rotated 360 degrees by stepping on the foot pedal on the base.
  9. To secure the cantilever, place paving stones on base as shown.
  10. Insert stay pole into cover, the stay pole slides into a pocket next to the zipper. 

Care and Maintenance

  • When not in use, close the umbrella, place a protective cover over it and store in a dry place.
  • If canopy is wet, allow to dry naturally opened up before storing. If necessary, clean the fabric with a hose.
  • Components subject to turning and sliding can be treated with a non-staining lubricant spray (silicon-based).
  • Store in a dry place when not in use.
